Riverside Escapes was created as an off-grid, eco accommodation in the Far North, in Mangonui.
Our quiet escapes are designed for rejuvenation - the perfect Northland experience!

Riverside Escapes is situated on a riverfront olive grove in the Far North of New Zealand. We want to encourage guests to come for a visit, to unplug from the rush and reconnect and experience the beauty of the Far North.

With three retreats tucked away on site, they are each designed to be private and your own secret recluse to relax in.

Shaken Down Olive Oil

Riverside Escapes is located on the banks of the Oruaiti River and is surrounded by stunning countryside. The 500 mature olive trees on the property are harvested annually producing ‘Shaken Down’, our own brand of delicious olive oil.
